Talking - Papa Papa Only Papa

Its funny and little *sad* for me ... No matter what we teach her to say she would only say Papa. We tell her to say Mumma and she would say Papa, we tell her to say Hello and she would say Papa, We tell her to say matte(Namaste) and she would say Papa, We tell her to say Om and she would say Papa. It's like stuck... she is madly in love with this word "Papa" and I smile wide when she says it ... and feel jealous from inside (need I say that?) And i feel like strangling anyone who says..."oh is it? Does she say Papa all the time? Thats strange - usually kids say Mumma as their first word. You might not be giving her enough attention"
Ya Ya you are being a big supporter ... adding to my already highly concerned heart and mind. Anyway...I am happy with one fact...Few times while crying she has said Mumma. And i am rejoicing in that only - No no..not rejoicing in her cying but that she says Mumma :) And hoping she would call me also - some day when she is not crying.

LOL! Now, don't be jeleaous and it is all nonsense about paying less attention and all. I don't know the science behind all this, but they are just happy to be able to speakand fascinated with the first word. "Give her time" - my favorite phrase, you'll hear often from me. :)
