A beautiful day out

A day out to Keukenhof was  a real treat for our little princess.

Last to last waekend, a friend of mine visited us with her husband. They came over from UK. So we decided for a day trip to Keukenhof - World's biggest flower garden. I must say the visit was worth going.

When we planned this day out, i was bit hesitant thinking how would we manage with Prisha. It would be a long day for her and might become difficult. But i was so wrong. I think she enjoyed is more than anyone. As soon as we entered the garden, she wa smiling wide looking at those colorful flowers all around. It was a lovely sight - both her face and the garden. She was looking around turning her head this side and that side. She was happy beyond explanation. We loved that. Thankfully the weather was super excellent. It was a sunny day - not too warm not too cold - just perfect to move around in a garden, be under sun and yet not feel warm and the need to be in shade.

We kept moving around- looking at different flowers. There were hundreds of  varieties of tulips and hundreds of other flowers. Such vibrant colors and  frangrance refreshed us all. They had even planted bulbs in  the shape of biggggg dianasour. It was wonderful too see a dianasour made of flowers :)) We also saw some wonderful range of lillies.

By the end of it, Prisha didn't look tired at all. She was excited and so were we. We had such a nice day that we didn't want it to end; so we continued our nice day by going to the beach late in the evening and then having a wonderful dinner at an Indian restaurant where beautiful live music (gazals) was going on. The atmosphere added to the beauty of the day.

It was a beautiful day and even more memorable because It was Prisha's first outing ever. And also because I met my friend after 8 years. We had a fabulous day after such a long time.
