For few weeks now I have been wanting to start writing here again. Its been ages since I posted anything. I missed out so much in between which I had wanted to capture and put here. All said and done - that time is gone now and no point thinking about it. I want to restart now and write as and when I can.
Prisha is exactly 3 yrs and 5 months today.
And it's also her last day in the day care where she has been going since she turned 3.5 months. It has been a long and beautiful journey till now. Today looking at her own baby pictures she gets amazed to see that she was herself so tiny once. She refuses to accept that those tiny baby shoes were hers - she insists they are her doll's shoes :) Its quite mixed feeling day today. So far, its all fun for her - the gift wrapping for her friends and teachers in creche, the stickers put on, the bye bye party etc.
We have been preparing her for couple of weeks now that she will soon be going to new creche but i am not sure she really understands what it means. So far She has gone to new creche twice for few hours for introductory periods. She liked it but still kept repeating she would prefer to go to the same she has been going for years.
I think I am more emotionally worried about this change than she herself is. I am just hoping she will get new friends here and enjoy it as much as the older one.
She has one added excitement for this new creche. As this new creche is at walking distance from our house, she can go cycling to it. She is mighty excited about this part. Especially with weather getting better now, it would be fun. Not cycling while in Netherlands is just not acceptable :) It's a shocker if you tell someone that you don't cycle or you dont have a bicycle. People usually shrug if off thinking its a joke!
Ok - so let's see how long this cycling excitement keeps her happy about this new creche. Also, kids are emotionally stronger than us. Only we adults worry and analyse everything too much.

How wonderful that the creche is so close she can cycle it:-) She's such an independent young woman already:-)
Thanks B. Yes...kids grow up faster than we realise :)
